A lot has been going on this year since the re-organization of the former East Tennessee Paranormal Society in January.
The group had been mostly idle for more than a year when Tracy Franklin stepped up the bat, so to speak, to become the group’s new president. Since then, he has been busy getting the group back to being a functioning investigative organization. The group decided  to add the word “Research” to its name to emphasize the group’s scientific methodology when investigating the paranormal.
Recent investigations at a Rogersville, Tenn., residence where Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVPs) and poltergeist activity are fairly com-mon, at Prospect Methodist Cemetery outside Madisonville, and at the historic Bijou Theatre in Knoxville have resulted in some intriguing findings.
The group is especially excited about having gone back to investigate the famed Bijou. ETPS investigated the Bijou in 2003 and this July. They intend to post their findings to the ETPRS website soon.

Who You Gonna Call?
Above: Members of the East Tennessee Paranormal Society pose amidst the headstones at Knoxville’s historic First Presbyterian Church. While there, member Sean Dudley not only heard a voice speak into his ear but was able to record what the voice said.
